The image in PhotoShop was filtered with the Watercolor effect. I also covered up a person in the center of the image to focus on the center of the building. I copied the archway to the right of the center and pasted it over the person in the photo and then added lighting effects and shows to alter it slightly from the arch on the left.

I took artistic license on the calligraphy arrangement in brown on the left. I hope this isn't offensive to any Ottoman's out there. I then balanced the calligraphy with darker writing on the right side. The blue stripe is added to balance out the blue strip that will show through the bottom edge of the front.
